Student ID and Public Transportation Ticket

As a guest student at Universität Hamburg, you will receive a Student ID and a Semester Ticket for the public transportation network in and around Hamburg.

Your preliminary semester documents will be sent to the International Office by mail. You will receive them during our Welcome Week. They will be valid for only 4 weeks from the start of the semester.

You will receive your final semester documents (Student ID and Semester Ticket) from the International Office after you paid the semester contribution and after your health insurance status has been transmitted to Universität Hamburg.
