If the majority of the research in your discipline is published in English, if your studentswish to reach an international audience or if they are simply more comfortable writing inEnglish than in German, then they may prefer to submit their research papers in English.Furthermore, as more writers seek to write in languages other than their first language,the use of generative AI in that writing process becomes more prevalent, more self-evident, and perhaps more accepted.
