In addition to her role at the School of Business, Economics and Social Science of University of Hamburg, Carolin Hoyer is Corporate Brand & Sustainable Business Manager for Unilever in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In this role, she is transforming the organisation to a sustainable business, in which sustainability targets are inseparable from business results. She is responsible for the communication of the sustainable growth agenda amongst employees and manages advocacy for Unilever and its brands with external stakeholders.
Carolin also leads the communication task force of the Forum for Sustainable Palm Oil of which Unilever is a founding member. The alliance of companies, associations and non-governmental organisations works together to improve practices in the palm oil sector.
With more than eight years of experience in marketing, corporate communication and issue management in the fast moving consumer goods industry, she has a strong industry network.
She holds an Executive Master’s degree of Science in Communications Management.
