Eva Markowsky has been working as a research assistant at the Chair for labor, family, migration, and gender economics (Prof. Dr. Miriam Beblo) at Universität Hamburg since October 2016.
She obtained both her degrees at Universität Hamburg: B.A. in Socioeconomics in 2014 and M.A. in Economics in 2016. The topic of her PhD thesis is “Culture, language and economic behavior”, supervised by Prof. Dr. Miriam Beblo.
Her main research interests are:
- Labor and migration economics
- Culture and language economics
- Economics of gender
- Behavioral economics
- Applied microeconometrics
She represents the interests of doctoral students on the board of the WiSo Graduate School and on the faculty's doctoral committee.
