Knowledge exchange in research and teaching
The faculty considers its core skill in the area of knowledge exchange as working on the fundamental challenges facing civil society in co-creative research contexts and in applied teaching. The specific understanding of knowledge exchange in terms of social innovation ties in with the faculty’s research and teaching profile in the thematic fields of sustainability, climate change, social inequality, digitalization and violence prevention. The focus on social innovation plays a leading role in many of the faculty’s different knowledge transfer activities. At the same time, the tightly interwoven nature of knowledge exchange and teaching is a particular characteristic of the faculty’s knowledge exchange activities.
