Therefore, the Academic Office will safeguard that you can unregister from written examinations until 30 minutes before the respective exam starts on strike days. This applys to written examinations with a course number starting with "23-" only. Later on, there will be no opportunity to apply for withdrawal from examinations because of strike measures.</p>
<p>For the time being, please also assume that the Academic Office can be reached only by telephone or digitally during office hours on strike days.</p>
<p>Please always check whether your request can alternatively be handled by telephone or e-mail instead.</p>
<p>Thank you for your understanding.</p>NAGR-fakws-23309857-production2024-02-09T11:10:00ZSTiNE malfunction<p>Update 16 Feb 2024: According to recent knowledge, registration for and withdrawing from examinations worked properly after 14 Feb 2024. Students who tried to register for or deregister from examinations in the timeframe from 07 Feb 2024 to 14 Feb 2024 please follow the instructions below.</p>
<p>Status 14 Feb 2024: Since 07 February 2024 there are malfunctions in STiNE (see STiNE-Newsroom). Please check in STiNE in the section "Exams" whether registration or cancelling exams was successful. In case there is a problem, please try registration or deregistration later if registration deadlines allow so. If an error message appears when entering iTANs, please cancel the process, as after three unsuccessful attempts the entire iTAN list will be blocked and must be reissued.<br></p>
Deregistration from exams: In case you are not able to deregister from exams yourself by end of the respecitve deadline, please apply for withdrawal from written examinations via our online application form in order to prevent loss of examination oppotunities. There is no need to provide evidence of technical problems.
Registration for exams: In case registration for exams is not possible to you by end of the deadline, please forward your registration request (including course title an course number) to the Academic Office via you UHH-mail account.
Registration for exam (2nd examination period): Please register for exams in the 2nd examination period yourself as soon as technical issues are resolved.

<p>The Academic Office Economics is currently receiving many enquiries relating to the STiNE disruptions. We therefore ask you to refrain from less urgent requests or requests for status updates. Due to massive work load problem solving may be limited to implementation of your request in STiNE without individual feedback.</p>
