Certificates for auditing students and completed coursework
Certificates for auditing students
If you wish to audit a course, please write down your name, student ID number, degree program, and current term. Prof. Straubhaar must sign the paper at the end of every lecture. After the end of the term, you can take this signed paper to Ms. Leinonen to receive an auditing student certificate.
Certificates for completed coursework
All queries about certificates for completed coursework need to include your last name, first name, student ID number, degree program (including degree type, for example, bachelor’s, Diplom, Magister, or teacher training), course, exam dates (term, first or second exam date, and date) and be sent by email to Ms. Leinonen.
Once you have received a confirmation that your certificate has been issued, you can pick it up directly from Ms. Leinonen. You will need to bring your student ID and photo ID.
Illness
Procedure in case of an illness
- In case of illness, students are required to submit a medical certificate within seven days.
- If, due to illness, you cannot hand in a term paper by the deadline, you need to submit a medical certificate to the course instructor or supervisor.
- If this procedure is not followed, you will receive a failing grade for the written or oral exam and/or term paper.
- If you are not able to attend a written or oral exam, you must submit a medical certificate to the academic office. Please read the the academic office’s current rules and regulations and use this form.
Inability to keep the deadlines for term papers
If a term paper is not handed in on time, the paper will be graded down—how much depends on exactly how late you handed it in.
