Dr. Lars Guenther joined the team on "Communication Studies, Climate and Science Communication" in June 2019. He is a postdoc working within the DFG-funded cluster of excellence on “Climate, Climatic Change, and Society“ (CLICCS). Since April 2021, he is also Extraordinary Associate Professor at the Centre for Research on Evaluation, Science and Technology (CREST) at Stellenbosch University (South Africa). From 2020 to 2021, he was interim professor for communication studies with a focus on communication theories, media systems, and communication policy at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich.
His research interests are the following:
