DESCRIPTION:This event takes place in German.\n
With the sudden emergence of AI generators for a wide variety of media formats since the end of 2022, universities face enormous opportunities as well as significant challenges regarding their teaching and the implementation of digital examinations. In addition to issues of copyright and data protection, the area of examination law is particularly affected by these developments, and appropriate measures are needed for a constructive approach to this technological revolution.\n
A key question is: Can texts and media content created by AI generators even be recognized and detected as artificially generated? And if so, how reliable are the results of AI detectors, and how can these be taken into account in examination law? Such rapid technological developments also inevitably necessitate government regulation, as intended by the EU AI Act. What implications does this regulation have in general and specifically for the higher education sector?\n
The aim of this workshop is to explore these and other questions and then discuss them in greater depth with all participants.\n
The main topics are:\n
- AI-VO-E or AI-Act (draft)\n
- Higher education laws (of the federal states, especially Hamburg)\n
- Study and examination regulations\n
The training courses offered by the MMKH are free of charge for employees of the University of Hamburg.\n
Registration available on the website.\n
\n
