Asian European Management | AEM Specialization
The AEM Specialization is a value-added Certificate Program focusing on Management and Business Administration in Europe and Asia, which has been developed by five partner institutions from Germany, Denmark, China and Vietnam within the framework of EU Asia-Link project. Starting from fall term 2007/spring term 2008, the AEM specialization is jointly offered in the existing Master's programs at the following four partner universities:
University of Hamburg, Germany - MiBA Master of int. Business Administration (M.A.)
Aalborg University, Denmark - IB International Business (M.Sc.)
About the Partners
- founded in April 1919, University of Hamburg with close to 40,000 students is one of the Germany's largest universities. There are about 850 professors engaged in teaching and research in 6 faculties (18 departments). Currently there are around 9,000 students registered in the faculty Economics and Social Scienes.
- established in 1974, Aalborg University is the youngest of the five universities in Denmark. Currently more than 13,500 students (including approx. 800 foreign students) are registered at the University's three faculties: Faculty of Humanities, Faculty of Social Sciences and Faculty of Engineering and Science.
East China University of Science & Technology - ECUST was founded in 1952. In June 1996, ECUST was selected as one of the top 100 Universities in China for national "211 Project". The University gradually expanded into a multidisciplinary national key university incl. engineering, science, business, management, administration, humanities and law. At the present the student body has reached over 20,000.
National Economics University - established in 1956, at present NEU is serving as a
credible and largest incubator of economic and business managers in Vietnam. It currently has
44,000 students and 23 faculties with 8 majors.
Foreign Trade University - established in 1960, Foreign Trade University (FTU) has
developed from a single-disciplinary into a multi - disciplinary institution with diversified and
competitive training programs that are highly adaptable to the economy of Vietnam and Asia.
