An international exchange programme with the "Scottish Graduate Programme in Economics" (http://www.sgpe.ac.uk/) provides interested students the opportunity to study in Scotland during their second term in the M.Sc. programme. The Scottish Graduate Programme combines the research and teaching expertise fot the eight established Scottish Universities (Edinburgh, Glasgow, Herriot-Watt, St. Andrews, Stirling, Dundee, Aberdeen, and Strathclyde). Specialist teachers on the programme are drawn from all eight participating Scottish universities, giving a high level of expert tuition. Up to five optional courses in areas such as Environmental Economics, Development Economics, Financial Economics, Economics of Transition, Corporate Finance, Industrial Organisation, Labour Economics, and International Money and Finance can be studied.
The unique collaborative venture provides graduate students with a high quality and thorough training in economics and a learning experience in its own right. Furthermore, participants learn how economic issues interconnect globally.
