Our research is ranked first class (e.g. by the German commerce magazine Handelsblatt and in the CHE-ranking). We cooperate with academics from all over the world and work closely with companies. As researchers, we are committed at both an international and regional level and consider scholary freedom in research and teaching to be a particularly important issue. We run research labs for experimental research and participate in major conferences at an international level to ensure the exchange of scholary knowledge.
Our research performance is based on interdisciplinary research centers and disciplinary institutes, which participate in international networks.
