At the Department for Business Administration, departmental decisions are made by an elected board, which is composed of professors, student representatives and technical and administrative personnel.
The LuSt-Committee (committee for teaching, degree programs and study reform) was founded as a platform for discussing issues relating to university life. This is where departmental recommendations for management are developed, involving all status groups. Consultation and the use of tuition fees is an integral part of the work carried out by this committee. Students and professors are represented equally.
The Fachschaftsrat represents the interests of students at the Department of Business Administration. As part of the constituted student body at Universität Hamburg, student representatives not only participate in the work performed by the governing committee, but are also eligible to vote.
